General Information
The Levi Lab is recruiting participants for non-invasive vision studies. We have many different studies ranging from virtual reality videogame play to looking at computer displays and responding based on what is being presented (similar to a very simple desktop videogame). If you fall into any of the following categories, or suspect you do
Amblyopia (also known as lazy eye)
Strabismus (an eye turn)
Poor stereopsis or stereovision
Normal (or corrected to normal vision)
You may be eligible for our studies!

All participants must be 5-65 years old
Where is the Levi Lab located?
The Levi Lab is located on UC Berkeley’s campus. Our address is:
486-488 Minor Hall, University of California, Berkeley
Berkeley, CA, 94720
Our Purpose
The purpose of our research is to understand how perception is degraded by abnormal visual experience early in life (amblyopia and strabismus). A goal behind our research is to develop new methods to diagnose and treat these abnormalities.
Why participate?
Amblyopia is one of the most common visual disorders in children. We still have many questions about the best way to diagnose and treat children and adults who have had abnormal visual experience early in life. New lines of research have suggested even adults past the stage of visual development can recover visual function using specially designed interventions. These research topics are recently discovered and leave many questions unanswered. Your participation in our research is critical towards answering these questions!
